Paralegals and Legal Assistants

capalarAlison Tracht, Paralegal
Alison graduated from San Diego State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, obtained her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego Paralegal Program in 2003 and has worked in the legal field since 2004. Alison comes to RLC with an extensive background in Family Law, and as an RLC case manager, she enjoys assisting Donors, Surrogates and Intended Parents with Egg Donation, Embryo Donation and Surrogacy Agreements. Born and raised in San Diego, Alison enjoys spending time at the beach, being with family and friends, and playing soccer.

santiagoMarta Santiago, Legal Assistant
Marta has worked in the legal profession as a legal assistant since 1993. As a Case Manger with RLC, her job duties include managing Surrogacy and Egg Donation cases. Born in Puerto Rico, Marta is bilingual and assists in communications with our growing number of Spanish speaking clientele. In her spare time she enjoys reading and loves music and dancing, especially Latin music and dance.

steckerCara Stecker, Legal Assistant
Cara has worked as a legal assistant in assisted reproduction since 2005, accumulating a great deal of experience in managing Surrogacy and Egg Donation cases and now focuses on our clients' parental establishment cases. She obtained her Legal Assistant Certificate from Maric College and plans to return to school to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young children exploring the outdoors, cooking and crafting. Cara finds great joy in being part of a special team of people who help others fulfill their dreams of creating a family.

smithMin-Soo Smith, Legal Assistant
Min-Soo joined Reproductive Law Center in 2014 as a legal assistant.  His area of focus is assisting clients with their parental establishment matters in addition to being a case manager for Surrogacy and Egg Donation cases.  He graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 with Degrees in Political Science and History.  In his leisure time, Min-Soo enjoys playing hockey and listening to a side of album on vinyl.

Financial Administration


ferreiraJenelle Ferreira, Financial Administrator
As the Financial Administrator at Reproductive Law Center, Jenelle is responsible for the management and maintenance of the attorney-client trust account, as well as the daily financial operations for the business. Having been with RLC since 2010, Jenelle has garnered a great deal of experience with both clients and management of the client trust accounts. Born and raised in San Diego, Jenelle enjoys playing and coaching soccer, along with cheering on her two children who play competitively. She also enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and children during the warm summer months.

ferreiraJacqueline Lampinen, Assistant Financial Administrator
Jacqueline joined the RLC team in 2013 as the Assistant Financial Administrator. Her duties include assisting the Financial Administrator with managing the business account, open and closing trust accounts and assisting the attorneys with special projects. Jacqueline enjoys paddle boarding, fishing and spending time with her husband and kids. She also donates time to the local animal shelter.
